When you first load the app you “Register” your device. Consider registering your device as “checking in”. Once checked in you will receive notifications from other people as long as it has been 2 hours since the last time you checked in.

When you report a person, you are sending that report to our servers. We receive the report and send a push notification to everyone who has checked in within the last 2 hours. You will receive a notification whether the app is open or not.

Stale reports will eventually disappear after a few hours. We will be throttling the number of reports a single device can make and may change this over time to accommodate the needs of all the users utilizing our app.

ABOUT TALLBOY

Tallboy is an iOS and Android app that is specifically geared to people who frequent parks in Toronto. Using the app you can communicate reports of “people” that may interrupt or deter you from enjoying an ice cold beverage in the park. Wouldn’t that be nice?
